Emulsion Chopped Strand Mat
The alkali-free glass fiber emulsion chopped strand mat is made by short-cutting the glass fiber raw strands, randomly and uniformly laying them out in a flat manner, and then bonding them together with the emulsion adhesive. It can be used for reinforcing UP and VE, etc. The width range is 200mm to 3200mm. Special specifications can be produced according to customer requirements.Main application: The typical productsinclude boats, storage tanks, large sheets and panels, furniture, etc. FRp productsmade by of fiberglass woven roving are with high tensile strength.
Fiberglass Mat manufacturing process
The glass fiber yarns are cut into a certain length, randomly deposited on the conveyor belt, and then bonded together with powder or emulsion adhesives. After drying, cooling and winding, short-cut raw filament felts are formed.
